The elk and horses love it here

There are more trailes than you can imagin. And it would take a good month to explore this mountain

Northeast mesa

The views up here to the N.E and N.W of the mesa
is so breath taking because there are miles and miles of grass for the wildlife to survive here year around and ponds where they come here to drink, and sometimes i have trouble with the horses to get them off the mesa and get them home cause they just don't want to leave. This is just like green pastures to them.

Volcanic Rocks

Checking out the elk herd below in the pastured area

This whole mountain range use to be an active volcano
thousands years ago. On the picture above you can see the volcano rocks at my feet and it is very important to follow the trailes that has been cleared because you just can't walk through the open mesa for the scattered lava rock through out the entire mountain range. Sometimes it looks easier to just cut stright to your desnity, but it is better on the horses to walk them that extra mile for there saftey and yours.
